Although Medical Humanities was neither my major nor minor, the courses I took and seminars I attended played a huge role in my undergraduate career. It providing a lot of medical and biomedical ethics frameworks that are transferrable to nonprofit ethics. Additionally, some of the writing that i have been most proud of has came from these courses.
To the right, I have one of my favorite pieces that I wrote entitled: "The Heart of Medical Humanities." This is a solid sample of an illustrative writing style. For our final paper, we were tasked with writing a piece that describes what the definition of medical humanities is, through a lens that we had discussed in class. I chose to discuss the definition of medical humanities through the context of literature and moral imagination. I used examples from my own readings, readings from class, and research papers.
