Before 2021, PATTERN had never created and sent out an Impact Report. Using my experience from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, I pitched that PATTERN create an Impact Report. I wrote the copy and outlined the vision for our graphic designer to design the report.
We also created a marketing plan and mailing campaign to go along with the Impact Report. I learned a lot from this experience and am currently making an improved version for 2022. |

Throughout my time at PATTERN, I wrote two print stories, five digital stories, styled three digital editorials, and assistant styled one print editorial. I was able to write stories about a CEO of an arts organization, a senior staff editor on the Flexible Editing desk for the New York Times, and an entrepreneurial hair and makeup team. I helped style a print fashion editorial using only tulle and styled LGBTQ+ activist and poet for a digital cover shoot. Additionally, I served as the Editorial Assistant for the print magazine—Volume 20: The Music Issue. I also assistant copyedited the entire magazines for Volume 20, Volume 21, and Volume 22.
